Trump Promises $5,000 Dividend to Every American if Republicans Win Midterms

At the Republican midterm convention in Dallas on September 9, 2026, President Trump promised to issue a $5,000 "dividend" to every adult U.S. citizen if Republicans retain control of the House and Senate in November. "I will issue a dividend to every adult citizen in the United States of America for $5,000," Trump said.
