About 47watch.org
47watch.org is an independent, non-partisan project that keeps a durable, sourced record of the 47th U.S. presidency — its policies, regulations, ethics, rule-of-law questions, information integrity, global impact, and the people and money behind them.
Every entry (an “incident”) is tied to reputable, citable reporting and is dated to the underlying event. Our goal is a searchable public memory: neutral in tone, specific in claim, and transparent about how confident we are in each item.
How we rate certainty
Each incident carries an editorial confidence label so you can weigh it appropriately:
- Confirmed (5/5) — established by official records, court filings, or multiple independent outlets.
- Well supported (4/5) — reported by reputable outlets with solid sourcing; no serious dispute.
- Developing (3/5) — credible but still unfolding or partially sourced.
- Disputed (2/5) — contested facts or competing accounts.
- Allegation (1/5) — a claim on the record that is not yet corroborated.
We correct and update entries as the record changes — including legal outcomes on items still in litigation. Spot an error or omission? Use the Suggest a record form.
