Trump Offers $1 Million Reward for Voter Fraud Tips Ahead of Midterms
In a Truth Social post on October 26, 2026, President Trump wrote that "anybody reporting Voter Fraud in the past Elections, or the upcoming 2026 Midterm Election, will be paid $1,000,000," with payment conditioned on the arrest and conviction of those responsible. The post gave no details on how to file a report, who would administer the reward, or where the money would come from; asked for comment, the White House referred a reporter back to the post itself.
The offer follows years of unsubstantiated claims by Trump that fraud cost him the 2020 election, claims courts and election officials have repeatedly rejected. Several election deniers Trump hired to investigate 2020 have since left the administration without finding fraud. The bounty arrives about a week before the midterms, following a September pledge of $5,000 "Trump Dividend" payments contingent on a Republican win, a proposal budget analysts say would cost over $1 trillion and require congressional approval Trump does not have.
As of this writing, no formal fraud-reporting mechanism has been established, and it remains unclear whether or how the reward would ever be paid.
