Trump Media Announces Paid High-Speed Access to Top Truth Social Posts

Trump Media and Technology Group announced on July 16, 2026 a paid service, called Truth PSI, that would give banks, algorithmic trading firms and other institutional customers millisecond-scale priority access to posts from the highest-ranking Truth Social accounts. The president is the platform's most-followed account at 12.9 million followers, and is the parent company's largest shareholder. The company did not disclose pricing and did not respond to questions about whether the president's own posts would be included. Interim chief executive Kevin McGurn described the product as part of a strategy to monetize proprietary assets and said he expected it to become a meaningful, ongoing source of revenue. The company said the service starts next month and that customers have already signed up.

The arrangement would attach a price to earlier receipt of statements the president makes in his official capacity — in recent months his posts have concerned the Iran war, tariffs and immigration enforcement, all market-moving subjects. Kathleen Clark, a government ethics scholar at Washington University School of Law, said federal conflict-of-interest law would bar an executive branch official from owning a company that profits by selling access to their decisions, but noted the president and vice president are exempt from that provision. Prior presidents nonetheless divested or used blind trusts; Trump has not.

Trump Media stock closed at $9.63 on the day of the announcement, down from $40 before the president took office.
