Trump Expands Travel Ban to Cover 39 Countries and the Palestinian Authority

On December 16, 2025, Trump issued a proclamation expanding U.S. travel restrictions to nationals of 39 countries plus holders of Palestinian Authority travel documents, roughly doubling the number of nations covered since the original ban took effect earlier in the year.
