Trump's Personal Data-Center Stock Holdings Jump 600% as He Pushes Federal Buildout

A CREW analysis published October 1, 2026, found Trump held between $2.9 million and $9.5 million in eleven data-center-related stocks as of the end of 2025, a more than 600% increase from the $86,000-$415,000 he held in those same holdings in 2024. His brokers executed 292 trades in the eleven companies -- including Equinix, Digital Realty, CoreWeave and Vertiv -- during his first year back in office, according to disclosure filings CREW reviewed.

Over the same period, Trump signed a July 2025 executive order directing agencies to ease federal regulatory burdens and make federal land available for "rapid and efficient" data-center construction, and he has repeatedly promoted the industry in public remarks. CREW also noted that Trump's business partner Hussain Sajwani, whose DAMAC Properties is building $20 billion in U.S. data centers through a subsidiary, paid Trump $12.5 million during the same year.

No specific policy decision has been tied to any specific trade. The Trump Organization says the president's accounts are managed by third parties "without his input."
