More Than 50 Democrats Call on Trump's Cabinet to Invoke the 25th Amendment Over His Iran Threats

On April 7, 2026, more than 50 Democratic members of Congress publicly called on Trump's cabinet to invoke Section 4 of the 25th Amendment to remove him from office, citing his threat that "a whole civilization will die tonight" if Iran did not meet his ultimatum. Illinois Governor JB Pritzker joined the call, as did former Republican Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene and commentators Candace Owens and Alex Jones.
