Description

Watch-sized 18-karat gold ring set with 321 diamonds, 56 sapphires, 13 emeralds and six rubies, engraved '250 YEARS USA' and 'Crafted in Antwerp for Donald John Trump'; presented at the America 250 event in Brussels to U.S. Ambassador Bill White to give to Trump, who thanked Antwerp in a recorded message. The White House said on July 2 the ring had not yet been presented to Trump. Value is two independent jewelers' estimates; neither the AWDC nor the jeweler would provide a valuation. Senators Warren and Blumenthal later asked whether the gift was tied to the U.S. exemption of European natural diamonds from tariffs.
