In late April 2025, Donald Trump Jr., along with 1789 Capital partners Omeed Malik and Christopher Buskirk and Steve Witkoff's sons Alex and Zach Witkoff, launched "Executive Branch," a private members' club in Washington's Georgetown neighborhood charging a $500,000 membership fee. The club's launch party drew several Trump administration officials alongside wealthy executives and tech founders.

The venture markets itself as an exclusive gathering space for allied investors, donors and political figures, with a waiting list despite the high cost of entry. Unlike traditional Washington institutions that emphasize discretion and bipartisan distance from any single administration, the club is openly branded around proximity to Trump-world figures and ideology.

Critics said the club risks functioning as an informal, undisclosed venue for policy and investment conversations among wealthy allies and administration insiders, without the transparency requirements that govern formal lobbying, reinforcing perceptions that access to the administration is increasingly privatized and monetized.
