President Trump sat for his first '60 Minutes' interview since 2020, airing around November 2, 2025. Fact-checkers at CNN, FactCheck.org and other outlets subsequently identified at least 18 false or misleading statements across topics including inflation, grocery prices, the 2020 election, and foreign policy.

Among the claims: Trump said Biden left him "the worst inflation rate in the history of our country," ignoring that the historic high was set in 1920 and that inflation had fallen to about 3 percent by January 2025. He also said grocery prices "are down" even after the interviewer noted they had risen, and he repeated his false claim that the 2020 election was stolen from him.
