White House Easter Egg Roll Adds Corporate Sponsors Amazon, Meta and YouTube

The 2025 White House Easter Egg Roll, held April 21, featured corporate sponsorship for the first time in the event's history. Amazon, Meta and YouTube were among the sponsors, alongside the New York Stock Exchange and several trade associations, with sponsorship packages reportedly ranging from $75,000 to $200,000 in exchange for branding and logo placement.

An outside production company, Harbinger, solicited the sponsorships on behalf of the White House Historical Association, which said proceeds would support the Easter event and similar White House traditions like Halloween festivities.

The involvement of major technology companies facing ongoing antitrust, privacy and content-moderation scrutiny drew criticism from watchdogs, who said it offered companies a friendly, family-oriented opportunity to associate with the presidency even as they lobby the administration on unrelated regulatory matters, further blurring lines between corporate interests and the federal government.
