- Federal court injunction on the wind-turbine height-clearance freeze
- What happened
- A DOJ status update filed September 17 showed at least 110 wind projects in active discussion before the injunction had not heard back, another 50 awaited initial meetings and roughly 30 with military radar agreements awaited a Pentagon counter-signature. The administration said it had "as a matter of policy" resumed processing but described only one project that had heard from the military, and disclosed a new, undefined "analytical methodology" all projects must pass. No contempt motion has been filed.
